Sandra Bullock, Rehab Homes, and Balance in Life
No comments yetWell, as they say you can’t have everything in life. When you rehab homes, you earn tens of thousands of dollars but the project takes a few months to finish. That means you’ll have to wait for a little longer to earn money, compared to, say wholesaling houses.
Even Sandra Bullock, Forbes’ highest paid Hollywood actress from June 2009-2010, didn’t have everything. It was still a roller coaster year for her, despite pocketing just some $56 million. She reportedly made a lot of money by opting for a share of the profits of “The Blind Side,” which won her an Oscar as best actress. However, she had to deal with her divorce with ex-husband Jesse James. For those who rehab homes, this could just be plain Hollywood stuff.
Look deeper though, you’ll realize that in real estate investing, or in life in general, you can’t get everything you want. For rehabbers, times come that they’ll find rundown properties one after the other. They then struggle looking for financing and end up losing some of the deals. But yes, people still need to experience some disappointments in life.
Lower points of our lives are meant to make us realize that we can go up. They are needed to remind us that for us to get to the top, we must work hard. If we lose a deal today, we might get two tomorrow. It is this sort of balance we should learn to deal with if we want to succeed doing rehab homes.
